Hassan Sarbakhshian, born in 1968 in the northwestern
Iranian city of Tabriz,
presently working as a photographer for the U.S.
Associated Press News Agency since Nov. 1999, also
served photo editor for Bahar daily http://www.baharnews.com
Holder of a bachelor's degree in photography,
graduated from Azad University on Feb. 1998.

1998-1999.
Won the first rank in Iran national photo championship

At present, Kandovan Village photo book is under
print by Farhangsara Publications Co. (Yasavoli).
The book is about life, traditions and
the unique architecture of
historic Kandovan village. I have also prepared the
text for this photo book. The village is situated in
southeastern part of Tabriz.
