امروز برای ديدن فيلم Man Ray که از طرف انجمن عکاسان ايرانشهر برای دومين بار در خانه هنرمندان به نمايش در می آمد رفتم و واقعا از ديدن آن لذت بردم اين فيلم خوش ساخت به مدت ۵۰ دقيقه و به زبان انگليسی به بررسی آثار اين عکاس آمريکايی
مي پردازد. Man Ray را به عبارتی می توان از جمله عکاسان تاثير گذار در روند شکل گيری هنر مدرن خصوصا در زمينه عکاسی ناميد. وی که هم زمان با عکاسی( که البته به صورت تجربی آموخته بود) نقاش - فيلمساز - مقاله نويس - فيلسوف - شاعر نيز به شمار مي رفت در ۱۸۹۰ در امريکا متولد و در ۱۹۷۶ در گذشت.
او از پابلو پيکاسو - ارنست همينگوی - سالوادور دالی - گرترود استاين و جيمز جويس عکس گرفت.
برخی از صحبتهای وی در فيلم که از زبان خودش عنوان می شد عبارتند از:
خيليها می گويند من از زمان جلوترم - اين طور نيست - در واقع آنها از زمان عقب ترند.
هنرمند دست به خلق نمی زند - روحيه زمانش را بيان می کند.
قرار است در آينده ای نزديک اين فيلم از طرف انجمن عکاسان ايرانشهر با زير نويس فارسی و به صورت DVD تکثير و در اختيار علاقه مندان قرار گيرد.
